For this year, it will be released in a very limited edition of Rubberized styles called “4X4″, with a 3 hand Japanese Quartz movement, a custom molded silicon strap and a stainless steel buckle. Starting with the Blue Rubber Player for March− and continuing with a new color on every 15th of the month till June, the new collection will be available in select stores for $170. The watch brand Nixon has been a clear StyleCrave favorite since the beginning. Apparently industrial designer Lysandre Follet feels the same way, as he envisioned a series of TV-inspired watches as a concept for Nixon. The TV series includes the classic color screen of a television, a tetris-style screen shot and a game of pong in three different watches. While there is no word that Nixon has even considered developing these, we’d love to see them do so– in hopes of getting the TV screen watch on our own wrist in a heartbeat.
