Designed for simplicity and style, the One Night flat-packed furniture by designer Sebastian Kjerse sure adds nicely to any small spot. Created after a single long night of work – hence the name, the collection consists of various sets of chairs each with a basic center piece that compliments it perfectly. Unassuming in its appearance and designed for low-seated comfort, One Night is compact enough to be welcomed into most modern homes, lounges and patios. Nice for a relaxing breakfast in the morning, no? [via Contemporist]

If you thought getting that nasty desk organized was a top priority (you should see ours), the brand new Clark Desk throws that notion right into the trash can. Designed to look random and unarranged, the desk is a delight to those who wish to just throw their stuff around without dealing with the hassles of pulling drawers and naming racks alphabetically. With a deep case to hold random documents, a rear area to store the bigger files and randomly designed holding spaces for goodies that you need in hand, the desk is actually far more practical than the mundane conventional models. “Unorthodox” yet ergonomic, this is what all the lazy folks have been waiting for. Inspired by the renowned Wipeout video game that Sony launched in 1995, talented designer Stéphane Perruchon, imagined this futuristic glass armchair that levitates. Although it doesn’t look like the chair for your typical gamer, the stylish design and the slim materials make it perfect for both home and office use. Featuring a white or black leather seating, the Wipeout chair is still a concept for the moment. A concept that we’d love to see it materialize, neverthelesss. It’d give our Wassily Chairs a run for their money… [via LeBlogDeco]

Designed by Ulla Koskinen for Woodnotes, MY and ROO are a set of stylish sack chairs inspired by the rigors of Finnish nature. Candidates for the materials innovation section at the International furniture show in Cologne, Germany, the stylish “chairs” are impressive. They are intended for a relaxed and comfortable seating thanks to a special combination of inflexible and thick Sand –upholstery fabric and fillingmix, that makes them delicate and strong at the same time. This may be the next style statement that pampers your senses while resting. [via DesignBoom]

A relatively young multidisciplinary designer from Los Angeles, Elyse Marks envisioned a modern table that delicately adds style to traditional woodwork. Built for Bernhardt Design, the Cove Table is flexible when it comes to materials or shape (both coffee table and side table). It uses an elegant walnut wood for the legs and structure, and is covered in white with a daring corian. To me, it looks perfect for the ‘five o’clock tea’ or dinner with family. Known for his works of eccentricity, French designer Jean-Marie Massaud has revealed this nest-like sculpture that seeks the perfect balance between the room and the object. Designed for Viccarbe, the Ad-hoc Lounge Chair is an exquisite hand-crafted armchair that intrigues with its simplicity. Perfect for both outdoor and indoor use, the brass structure is available in lacquered white, black, or orange epoxy. And if the $5,150 price tag is not exclusive enough for your taste, you can have it finished in 24k gold for some $8,060. [via DailyIcon]

Originally built for a famous sumo wrestler, this Kashiwado chair is a spectacular piece of sculpture that goes beyond the traditional art of woodcrafting. Designed by Isamu Kenmochi for Tendo Japan back in the 1961, the chair is made of carefully selected blocks of Japanese cedar (with the most tree-rings) that are manually polished and coated to an immaculate finish. A visual treat for our eyes, it’s the exotic, natural feel that makes this chair a perfect solution for those who’d like a little Japan in their homes. [via YouShiki]

Work of Swiss designer Christophe Marchand, Wogg 48 is a stylish height-adjustable table that seems to be wearing a set of old pantyhose. Jokes aside, it uses a steel frame covered in an elastic textile material that stretches (up to 140%) when the height is raised, has a distinguished design, looks simple, elegant and is definitely perfect for that home office of yours. Pretty innovative and daring, I must say. [via Unplggd]
