Another week, another Brazilian Bombshell leaves her Portuguese paradise behind to enter the world of modeling.  While this model could have been around for years, it is the first we’ve heard of Miss Amanda Brendao.  Brendao has been popping up here and there this week, with a shoot for Vogue France on its way as well as this one, where Miss Brendao is a bit more… friendly with her wardrobe.  In this shoot for Calzedonia Swimwear, Amanda Brendao shows off her talent quite blatantly– namely her 32-23-35 figure.  While those angles may trend on the subtle side, we certainly don’t mind looking.  More of Amanda Brendao after the jump…

Wine Wednesday: Hayman & Hill Chardonnay 2005

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 3:30PM - By Mike Payne

hayman and hill chardonnay 2007 Wine Wednesday: Hayman & Hill Chardonnay 2005

When it comes to California Chardonnays, it’s tough to beat the product of the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County.  However, getting a solid Russian River Chardonnay under $20 isn’t an easy task.  The Chardonnay of Hayman & Hill is one of the few to be had under $20 that’ll please the palette of amateur and afficionado alike.  To the nose, Hayman & Hill Chardonnay has aromas of pear and pineapple which were apparent in its flavor as well.  Beyond the fruit base, this chardonnay has subtle flavorings of butter and oak, with the latter not overpowering the warm fruit flavors.  In all, we were quite pleased with this Chard, and for the price it is likely we’ll be picking up another bottle quite soon.

  • Hayman & Hill 2005 Russian River Valley Private Selection
  • Chardonnay; 13.5 abv
  • $11-$14
  • StyleCrave Rating: B

david carradine Great Men of History: David Carradine Dies at 72

David Carradine Dies at 72 – One of the silver screen’s original bad asses passed away today in Bangkok, Thaliand.  Actor David Carradine was reportedly found dead in his hotel room this morning, news that has spread quite quickly, details still coming in.  Carradine is most recently remembered for his portrayal of “Bill” in Quentin Taratineo’s Kill Bill films, in addition to a long history of Kung Fu films in which he starred.  We’re personally fond of David Carradine’s role as “Frankenstein” in Death Race 2000, a film every man must see before they can truly call themselves men.  Read more about David Carradine at BeatCrave.  To see Carradine as “Frankenstein”, hit the jump…
