The New Concorde : London to New York in 3 Hours, in 2015

Good news is in the air for those who are yet to experience the supersonic speed of the mighty Concorde because an American firm is planning to revive this dream flight after its nostalgic touchdown five years ago. The Aerion Supersonic Jet may not have the same elegance and the size of the magnificent Concorde but the Aerion group is pretty sure that the flight will be a success so they have chalked out a test drive for the year 2012 with transatlantic tests to follow suit.

With a speed of 1.6 mach the supersonic jet will once again make it possible to fly from New York to London in just three hours. The Company claims that it has already got 50 interested parties who have sent letters of intent and paid the £150,000 deposit. The price will be £47.5million for each! [via DailyMail]
