Your bar could use a dose of incognito cool, and this wine bottle accessory kit is just what the doctor ordered. This unassuming wine bottle folds open to reveal all the gear you’ll need to enjoy a bottle of wine with company (save for glasses, of course). The wine bottle accessory kit from Sirtified includes a combination corkscrew and bottle opener, a drip stop ring, a stopper, a foil cutter and a combo pourer/stopper. After the wine is prepared, just slide this faux wine bottle into your wine rack– clutter be damned. [$26 at sertified]
For the uninitiated, there is a lot that goes on behind-the-scenes of wine making. While the familiar symbol of the vines, the harvest, the grape press and the oaken barrels are not too far off, there is plenty of chemistry and science that goes into nurturing the flavor of wine into the perfect vintage. As always, Gary Vaynerchuck and WineLibrary takes us on a crash course in the science of wine making– specifically, how to blend wine. We’ve got nine hot wine deals after the jump, in case you’re looking for a bottle for the weekend. Head over to WineLibrary, and use the coupon code STYLE for free shipping. Cheers, StyleCravers! When we think about good, Italian wine, the names Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo don’t come to mind– unless we’re looking for a stylish ride to our local wine boutique. The Scrimaglio family vineyard plans to switch that up a bit by introducing a series of wines under those classic Italian car brand names. You want Fiat Chardonnay, Lancia Spumante or Alfa Romeo Pinot? You’ve got it. While we can’t speak for the taste of these vintages, its certainly worth a try for Alfa Romeo owners the world over. Even if it tastes like motor oil, it’ll still look good in your wine cellar. [via autoblog]
Artisan Cellars is the storefront of a crew of sommeliers specialized in small production vineyards who staunchly believe in utmost quality and individuality. Their newest high-end wine retail shop is a one of a kind design by Asylum, featuring a tasting room with seating for 10 and space to rack up 400 bottles of luxury wines. Heaven for wine lovers, the simple looking white-washed walls not only sell the intoxicating drink but also insightfully quote men like Galileo Galilei and Norman Douglas among other greats. “Wine is a precarious aphrodisiac, and its fumes have blighted many,” reads one them… How very true! We love lamps, and we love wine. The enterprising Spanish design firm Ciclus has fused both of our passions into one box. This bottle of cava comes in a system of packaging that transforms into a stylish, modern lamp. Pop the cork, unfold the box, plug in a bulb and rebuild it– you’ve got a sweet, slatted table lamp (and few nice glasses of Spanish Cava). [dvice]

Looking far more elegant and graceful than some of the most renowned restaurants in the world, the Merus Winery in Napa Valley has been designed by Dutch Uxus Design to match the beautiful scenery and those amazing panoramas in California. The winery, which will open in early 2009, combines a minimalistic design together with modern architecture, to give it a highly refined and exquisite look. Uxus are the same guys that came up with those Bucella Wines bottles that managed to charm us some time ago, so I guess that’s another success on their resume. [via thecoolhunter]
Designed with sexy curves by Alberto Mantilla, Scott Henderson and Anthony Baxter, the Bent-Wood Wine Rack is a wonderful little addition ahead of your Christmas and New Year ‘get drunk’ nights. The rack can hold all the wine you need, as the twisting shapes of birch and walnut hold six standard bottles and one Magnum in the center. It should be up for grabs before Christmas allowing you to add a touch of class to your corporate night-out. If you are not such a social animal, you can enjoy the twirling shapes in privacy also.
