Beaded and bright, these Acne shoes represent one of the few ways you can incorporate sparkles into your closet. Slim and with even slimmer laces, the Mission Bead Shoes for spring/summer have thin wooden soles and a refined shape. A slight stacked heel elevates the shoes and completes the look. These shoes would be great with skinnier pants and a smart jacket. $620 at acne. [via modeman]

Furni “Rockassins”? Maybe I can wait to rotate wardrobes to spring around here. Furni’s moccasin-boots don’t only have an amazing name, but are made from Brazilian leather and have classic, heavy moc laces. After the name, the best part of the moccasin is the price ($98). The sole is crepe and looks quite durable. First production starts on the 21st of February; buying link at selectism. [via selectism]

Let the summer shoe-drooling commence. The Nike Zoom is presented with a Maharam collaboration to bring you an new, lightweight shoe body that’s an easy pick for linen and cotton. It’s really hard to match 100% linen pants with any sneaker-type shoe, but with these, I can see it. Maharam’s a textile company in New York, so they brought the textured upper to the Nike body in linen, horsehair, and leather touches. Gorgeous, heat-friendly, and superbly stitched for the serious buyer.

Dr. Martens, perhaps you should stick to your more traditional-style footwear? The newest Langley Boot from Dr. Martens has a hybrid desert design, but the sole is puffed-up and contoured. With noticeable stitching and hard-to-miss contrast outsoles, these Dr. Martens have departed from the British bootmaker’s tradition to aim for a more unusual look. Would you deem it successful?
