Luxury shoes always fall on the side of “buy,” but the shopping list would get too lengthy, too fast if we really planned on getting every single pair we saw. However, the H?Katsukawa Tokyo Silkprint Collection might be something that you actually want to track down, budget for, beg for, whatever suits your fancy. Certainly for the dapper man, the Tokyo Silkprint Collection has derbys and oxfords available with an antique-looking finish. Black round laces look superb on the pairs, of course, but so do the skinny light-colored laces shown above–or both.

Ronnie Fieg’s Clarks Originals Desert Boots are great, aren’t they? I can’t get enough of Clarks–like a lot of people out there, to be honest–and the slate blue ones are a good choice when it comes to bridging the gap between blacks/greys and colors for shoes. Matching slate blue laces are the finishing touch here, leaving these both denim-friendly and a pal to well-worn casual pieces. The shoes still haven’t gone on sale yet, so you have your chance to pounce, unlike some of the pieces we’ve spotted that are only available in limited sizing or that have sold out. These will be available on April 8th at Davidz.com (10 a.m. EST)… start your engines?

Give me chukkas, year-round. For all the pseudo “outdoorsy” pieces I see on the websites I visit, there are some items that I can imagine actually wearing to do stuff. I have a hunting-trapping-fishing side of the family that rarely puts their seal of approval on things, but I know that they’d like the clean lines of these Red Wing chukkas in warm leather and leather laces. In fact, these could make a good gift for said family members.

On the right snappy dresser, these pink-soled shoes could be out of this world. Jil Sander’s bright Memphis 999 shoes are pictured here in black and vivid pink, admittedly not everyone’s go-to colorway, but still a pick that isn’t without merit. Think pop art, avant garde, fresh designers, street art, London, funky suits, and conversation-worthy hats, and your mind will start whirling with styling options.

Could you pull these off? They’re a challenging summer shoe style, but the pre-Memorial Day and post-spring span always leaves me wishing and wanting more light colors in my collection. These Generic Surplus “Dury” shoes are so dapper that they’re worth the plunge, although matching gets decidedly trickier. Generic Surplus’s shoes are fashioned from fine, sleek canvas with a leather sole, and there’s no doubt that these shoes are made for the budget-wise guy with an eye for luxe: they are priced at $89.

Another Mr. Hare King Tubby shoe to stare at on Oki-Ni, just in time for S/S 2011 lounging. The King Tubby from Mr. Hare has gone through a few adjustments since the beginning of the year, with a switched-up silhouette to make them more “creeperish,” as Hare himself put it. They are slightly higher and have extra durability built in in the way of a rubber heel insert. Salmon skin uppers are glossy and luxurious, notes Hare, saying that they “look like a million bucks.”

Give me a comfortable pair of slip-on shoes anytime – especially now that temperature is beginning to rise. If the slip-ons also happen to be super cool-looking, as is the case with the Air Newport from Cole Haan, all the better.

Are these worthy of your wardrobe? I’m impressed. Ransom by Adidas Originals got together with Stussy to make the Plain CS Stussy shoes in royal blue, black, and tan. They don’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but that’s all right by me after seeing those odd backwards flipped-around shoes from Kazuki Kuraishi. These are much more pleasing to the eye, aren’t they?

This particular pair of dark brown suede Harrys of London driving shoes is going to make your chinos look so damn good(!). Casual, yet plenty urbane, the shoe marries modern technology with classic style; this comfy, easy slip-on loafer can go top of the list for ideal weekend wear or traveling.
