Tom Ford Bath Soap Tom Ford Bath Soap

It’s almost never that we’d feature a bar of soap here. But when the bar of soap in question is from style master Tom Ford, well, attention must be paid. You’re probably just fine with the three-pack of Zest you have now, but it’s perfectly normal to wonder how you might smell and how you might feel after a long, hot shower with the Tom Ford designer bar soap.

Fatboy Putty By Tyson Kennedy Fatboy Putty By Tyson Kennedy

You name a grooming product Fatboy Putty and I’m interested. While it makes perfect sense to think the hair paste might comes from Fatboy Slim, in fact the putty comes via Tyson Kennedy, the lead singer of the Grammy-nominated band Steriogram and an award-winning hairstylist at Cutler Salon in Soho. The man knows how to multi-task. Continue Reading

gillette chrome The Gillette Fusion Chrome Series Power Razor

The Gillette Fusion Chrome Series Power Razor is shaped like one of those crappy disposable razors, but this chrome beauty is anything but. Check out this hype from Gillette about this great battery powered shaving tool– when you press the button on the handle you get “gentle micro-pulses” that help “reduce friction and increase razor glide”.

bravado1 Old Male Scent Gets Fresh New Smell This Spring

Made famous for being among the first to offer scrubbing, buffing, hydrating and polishing products for men, Baxter of California is reentering the fragrance fray with a pair of cologne offerings that pay tribute to the premium grooming brand’s Bravado scent, introduced in the mid-1970s. Art director Marc Atlan — who did packaging design for Helmut Lang and Yves Saint Laurent — used splatters, drips and sprays for the new foil-based presentation, and avoided ink and glue common in traditional box packaging, the company wrote in a press release. Both new scents “fringe on unisex,” but are masculine and light. Bravado 2 has a citrusy top note, which fades to floral and vanilla musk with hints of basil, cypress and mandarin. Bravado 3 is slightly earthier, with mandarin top notes fading into lavender and woody musk tones with a bit of bergamot and nutmeg. The 3.4-oz Bravado bottles will retail for $80, and will be sold exclusively at Barneys New York locations in mid-April [via bravadodc]

six scents fragrances designer 5 The Six Scents Fragrance

This cologne is nothing short of dope.  The Six Scents Fragrances have become a wildly hip and closely followed series of scents in the world of style.  Every year, six prominent individuals (think perfumers + reps of all things culture, art, and creativty) develop a scent to benefit a chosen charity.

This time, we’re looking at fresh new collaborations by Alexandre Herchovitch and Joachim Correll, COSMIC WONDER Light Source and Philippe Paparella-Paris, Gareth Pugh and Emilie Coppermann, Bernhard Willhelm and Lucas Sieuzac, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and Mark Buxton, and Jeremy Scott and Philippe Roques– all curated by Joseph Quartana.

Six Scents Series One will be limited to 2000 units per frangrance and will fund Designers Against AIDS. What’s stopping you now? [colette via hypebeast]
