The Pong Clock smacks and paddles the day away, counting minutes and hours through the scores of opposing virtual ‘players.’ The design created such a Web buzz that all 400 of the limited edition Pong Clocks were purchased in one day. Designer Sander Mulder said the classic TV video game-styled clock was inspired by a real-life game glitch where properly positioned paddles would trap the ball in an infinite bounce. Creatively dubbed “Hooker’s Delight”, this martini glass features a golden chain with a fishing hook for whatever you have inside your dry martini, cosmopolitan or a fresh Between-the-Sheets (we just made that up). Though such a name may rule out women from enjoying their drinks, we definitely think it’s a must have accessory for the world’s most discerning bars. Canadian graphics and design company Mesta Design has expanded its brand with the addition of accessories and jewelry. In 2008, Mesta introduced Food — a line that focuses on sustainable goods and ethical, environmentally-sound agriculture and manufacturing methods. But the brand’s Earth-mindful process hasn’t limited craftsmanship or design aesthetic. Each handmade three-finger ring is built from polished exotic hardwoods like African Blackwood, Camatillo Rosewood, Cocobolo, ebony or paela and inlayed with pure silver dots.  [via hypebeast]

Tri3 is a vertical garbage container that wants to help you sort trash and save space at the same time. Designed and optimized by Guisset Constance & Cid Grégory, it uses a mechanism with three pedals to open up its distinctive layers. On top there’s the organic garbage bin, beneath that  is storage for packaging and plastic, while the lowest level container is for glass waste. Doesn’t sound like a bad idea with all the recycling hype these days, but unless you use equal amounts of the above, we can imagine you’ll be emptying these regularly.  [via Yanko]
