The Garia Edition Soleil de Minuit Golf Car

If you desire or demand an expensive and luxurious golf car, we think we’ve found the one for you – The Garia Edition Soleil de Minuit, a limited edition of The Garia Golf Car. The Garia Edition Soleil de Minuit golf cart, priced at at $52,000 / €39,000, will be revealed at the Top Marques in Monaco, April 15-18. No word if the deal includes free golf balls!

Manufactured at the Valmet Automotive factory in Finland, where the Porsche Cayman and Porsche Boxster are built, The Garia features a carbon roof, two-colored hand-stitched luxury seats, alcantara roof lining and numerous hand-made details to create the luxury golf car. The drive train is built by an Italian company that also produces Ducati gearboxes, and the aluminum profiles in the frame are made by the same company that supplies aluminum profiles to Aston Martin, Jaguar and Volvo. The base price for a Garia starts at $17,499 / €13,999. Luxury upgrades includes a built-in refrigerator and an exclusive personalization program; choose to have The Garia painted in your favorite color, or matched to your other cars.

Your golf game might forever suck, but at least enjoy your time on the links in a luxurious, European golf car.

2010 Bentley Mulsanne Debut

2010 Bentley Mulsanne Debut – The newest Bentley has made its official debut at the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance in Monterey, California. The Mulsanne, Bentley’s new flagship grand tourer, is an homage to the 1930 8-litre, becoming the first Bentley since that one to be designed, engineered and crafted from the ground up by Bentley engineers. Bentley offered no details of the powertrain behind this big-bodied beauty and was focused entirely on the historical symmetry between the new car and its ancestor, which shared the stage at the debut. True Luxury From Hyundai: The Equus On Its Way for 2010

Long known for creating affordable commuter workhorses with little to no real wow factor, Hyundai has slowly slipped its way onto our elegance radar with more refined vehicles like the Genesis. It continues its coming-of-age journey with the confirmation that it will bring the flagship Equus sedan over to the United States for late 2010. Launched this year in Korea, the Equus is miles apart from Hyundais of old and looks more at home amongst classmates named Mercedes and Lexus. The United States name for the car, pricing and packaging information, and specifications didn’t accompany the announcement and will be available closer to the official launch. [via World Car Fans]

2010 BMW ActiveHybrid X6: World’s Most Powerful Hybrid

While the title of world’s most powerful hybrid may be as bittersweet as star athlete of math camp, the BMW ActiveHybrid X6 provides a notable mix of increased efficiency and practical power. The gas-electric features a combination of twin electric motors and a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine to combine for 480 peak horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque. It runs 0 to 60 in 5.4 seconds and tops off at 130. Holding the reins of all the horses is a dual-mode, seven-speed transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system. As far as efficiency, the ActiveHybrid awaits testing, but BMW expects to get a 20% reduction in fuel consumption over the standard twin-turbo X6–so expect a rather anticlimactic 18 miles per gallon combined in the US. It will be available in the States in the fourth quarter and will be officialy debuted at Frankfurt. [via AutoBlog]

Details and Rendering of the Alpha Romeo 8C GTA

Some cars may try their damndest to imitate, but all fall far short of the Alpha Romeo 8C Competizione. In fact, the only thing that could possibly touch the powerful grace of the 8C must come directly from Alpha Romeo itself. Rumors and snippets of information have been flying on an upcoming 8C GTA to be released next March in Geneva. The GTA will incorporate a variety of carbon fiber upgrades to cut 300 pounds off the standard 8C’s weight. When combined with a new ECU and some other under-the-hood tinkering, the GTA is expected to pump well over 500 horses out of its 4.7-liter V8. Performance should be pushed close to the defining sub-4, 200 range. Car aficionados are so enthused about this upcoming release that they’re creating wild speculations as to its looks. So take a deep sigh of relief because that’s what that white-lipped monstrosity in the picture is all about (courtesy of the UK’s Auto Express). Bugatti Grand Sport: 2009′s Top Convertible – Our loyal readers will recognize the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport from a couple of months ago. However, as we get into the latter part of the summer, we got to thinking about what defines our most-coveted summer ride. A few things popped. A drop top is essential. The ability to blow every other single car off the road–whether that road is Interstate 80 or the Autobahn–is also a must. The uncanny power to get you laid with no questions asked, possibly without ever leaving the car, really rounds out our essentials. The Veyron Grand Sport brings all that. It also brings some X-factors like 1001 HP from a massive 16-cylinder engine, crazy 253-MPH top speed that requires a separate key to access and limited 150-model production run. In other words, it’s earned more than one look. Enjoy a little tour of this beauty in the gallery below.

Gemballa Porsche Mirage GT Matte Edition

Almost as if to make up for the clear misjudgment that was the Mirage GT Gold Edition, Gemballa brings us the Mirage GT Matte Edition. Looking purely sinister, the matte black theme of the car is broken only by a few subtle silver accents, cherry red taillights and contrastingly-bright headlamps glaring out at the observer like eyes of a mountain lion deep in the pitch black wild. Whether peeling toward the border on a midnight drug run or simply cruising to your local Citgo for a late night fill-up, the Matte Edition exudes an ominous sense of inescapable danger. Performance-wise, the GT Matte boasts the same numbers as the GT Gold and GT Carbon before it–670 HP, 0 to 6o in 3.7 and 208 top speed. Outside of the unfortunate bright blue alcantara interior, the visuals are pure upgrade, though. [via AutoBlog]

New Porsche 911 Turbo to Debut at Frankfurt

Like so many other great cars, the new Porsche 911 will be making its grand debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Though it may look like 911s of old, the new 911 features a significant power increase: new 3.8-liter, direct-injected twin turbo engine provides 500-HP and pushes the 911 to a 3.4-second 0 to 62 and 194 MPH top speed. Optional seven speed PDK gearbox with paddles completes the fully-upgraded driving experience provided by the new release. While fuel efficiency may not be on the mind of the average Porsche owner, it’s certainly a concern of everyone else, so in addition to its increased power, the new 911 boasts a 24.1 MPG rating (euro scale). IND Silverstone II BMW M3

Embodying the essence of its “subtle and clean” intent, the IND Silverstone II styling kit brings a few distinct changes to the BMW M3 convertible. IND has removed all of the stock OEM reflectors and added a polyurethane lip extension, new rear diffuser and stylish 20-inch BBS LM chrome wheels outfitted with Nitto Invo tires. The modifications will continue over the coming months with an Eisenmann Sport exhaust system, Rogue short shift kit, and performance shift knob and boot. Stare in envy because the kit was not designed to be a multi-car release; it’s been performed as a one-off for a private client. [via World Car Fans]

Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe MKII: Reinvention of an Icon

Shelby has decided to throw dedicated collectors with a lighter wallet a bit of love with this CSX 9000 Daytona Cobra Coupe MKII. While one of six original Daytona Coupes is expected to fetch over $7 million at auction later this month, this modernized version of the legendary Coupe will set you back a mere $89K. Of course, you’ll need to save some cash to add your desired engine and transmission, if you’d like it to go anywhere. While it doesn’t quite bring the esteem or history of the original, it certainly has the distinct, sporty look. It also receives a CSX 9000 series chassis number and place in the Shelby World Registry. Performance updates include improved cooling, modified air intakes behind the rear windows and improved suspension. Adding a touch of modern comfort to the timeless styling, the MKII includes a larger interior, external door handles and power windows. A Bit of Excess: Gembella Porsche GT Mirage Gold Edition

Like the flashy superstar too concerned with looking rich to look good, German tuner Gembella brings us the ostentatious Porsche Mirage GT Gold Edition. This blinged-out exhibition of misguided tunes uses generous amounts of carbon fiber to drastically cut weight and generous amounts of gold paint to add an over-the-top look that doesn’t really complement the GT’s natural beauty. To bring home the point on just how much gold has been spilled on this vehicle: it has gold in the air intake, the rear diffuser, the wheels, the trunk lid, the brake calipers, the engine bay and the wing mirrors–and that’s a shortened list of the external gold–plenty more inside. As far as performance goes, the Gold Edition gets the same engine tweaks as Gembella’s Mirage GT Carbon Edition (carbon fiber minus gold accents), which add 670 horses worth of power. The 0 to 60 is cut by 0.2 seconds down to 3.7 and the top speed is raised by 3 MPH to 208. [via AutoBlog]

Zeus Upgrades for the Honda Insight

Though the Honda Insight isn’t exactly as brash as most of the vehicles that grace the Crave network, it is a helluva a lot more practical–it’s a car any one of us can actually afford to put on the road. With that said, there’s no reason you can’t enjoy a little tuner-touch to your favorite hybrid. The Japanese Exclusive Zeus offers an upgrade kit that includes rear spoiler, grille and side skirts fabricated in aluminum. Purchase each piece separately or buy the whole kit all at once for 134,400 yen ($1418) or painted for 207,900 yen ($2194). While the Zeus Insight still looks as practical as ever, it might earn you a few extra props around town. [via AutoBlog]
