I don’t know how anybody does it. But with the official ‘Get the Look’ app for the new comedy I Don’t Know How She Does It, it’s now easier to find out how the ‘She’ from the critically acclaimed bestseller by Allison Pearson actually does do it – which no one really knows how she actually does it. Or something like that.
However, the ‘Get the Look’ app for the comedy starring Sarah Jessica Parker – opening September 16th! – provides a great, mobile opportunity to get all the cool fashion from the film.
Not only does the new app make it simple to find and buy fashion on sale inspired by the movie, users can also view exclusive clips, cast profiles and images, find showtimes and buy tickets at a theater near you.
There is even a chance to enter and win a trip to the movie premiere in NYC or a spending spree at popular fashion flash sale website HauteLook.
With Parker playing the lead role based on the She from Allison Pearson’s hot bestseller, the Douglas McGrath-directed comedy follows a Boston-based working mother trying desperately to juggle marriage, children, and a high-stress job.
If you are the type who comments during a film about wanting and/or needing a particular pair of shoes, or dress or hat an actor on the screen is wearing at that moment - then this is just the kind of mobile shopping you need.
And it’s not a stretch to say that Sarah Jessica Parker is going to be wearing all kinds of wardrobe awesomeness in the new film.
Parker is joined by a pretty darn good supporting cast, who will also most likely be dressed remarkably well throughout the film: Greg Kinnear, Pierce Brosnan, Seth Meyers, Christina Hendricks and Olivia Munn.
The free app was designed by skyrockit, an award-winning mobile entertainment studio, who launched the innovative promotional mobile application for the iPhone and iPad.
Skyrockit – which produced the online, mobile, and social media presence for the ‘Get the Look’ app – together with The Weinstein Company launched a partnership with HauteLook to provide a mobile fashion catalogue of outfits inspired by the film. Users will now have the opportunity to ‘Get the Look’ via HauteLook-curated fashions inspired by the film.
