Are you a commuter with a love of the open road? If you feel hard-pressed to find clothes that work for serious pedaling and the occasional splash, perhaps Levi’s will do the trick. At the turn of the month, the denim giant presented their new Commuter Cyling Series, which is a bike-friendly collection with the real commuter in mind. 3M reflective tape will keep you safe; a utility waistband works when you need something mid-ride; a high-cut back simply reduces binding and exposure (chilly spot, whoa!).

I’m game for some new Levi’s. I was just on the elevator a few days ago when a denim dealer specializing in vintage starting grilling me about my falling-apart Levi’s. They were perfect, he said, and he nearly offered me cash for them, until he realized that they were few-years-old Levi’s. He might have felt silly, not being able to recognize the stitching and such, but I took it as a sign that I should stick to some of my Levi’s fits. My one complaint about the brand is that the sizing is often irregular or just a little odd from jean to jean, even amongst the same style numbers. Be sure to try yours on! [via acquire]
