Rag & Bone Debuts Spring/Summer 2011 CollectionBy Jeffrey Hyatt
We dig a casual-though-still-kinda-upscale loafer or sneaker that goes with just about our entire wardrobe. The new collection from rag & bone definitely fits the bill; the fashion design house recently launched their Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which includes some terrific shoes, including a pair of low top sneakers, the classic leather loafer, the Truro derby shoe and the suede sheffield boot.
I’m definitely keeping an eye on the handmade Venetian moccasin. The moccasin is a classic shape with stitch detailing on the toe and contrast calico bone detailing around the foot. Handmade in Maine from 100% leather, this moccasin has a white camp rubber sole and gold deerskin lining.
But for me, that loafer is where it’s at. Designed with a navy nubuck upper, a sand toe and a brown leather foot strap and heel strip. it features a white midsole and a classic gum sole.
If those weren’t enough, check out the sneaker – designed with a nubuck upper, with contrasting mahogany detailing on the toe and heel. Not bad at all!
The designs are nicely low-key, but provided a boost of style sass with taupe, brown and black colors matched with the high-quality suede and leather. (via shoebuff)
