The ‘Strawfut’ from Allen Edmonds is one pair of sharp-looking oxfords. The wingtip lace-ups are built with a combination of leather and mesh, featuring a ’360° welt construction’ to provide exceptional support and flexibility, while a cork midsole molds to the foot for a custom feel.

The oxford is a nice reissue of a classic style that had big success in the mid-20th century; the men’s shoe combines smooth, tight-pore calfskin leather with mesh or linen textile panels for exceptional breath-ability. Beneath the leather-covered foot-bed, the cork midsole molds to your foot over time for a custom, orthotic-like fit; 360° welt construction ensures flexibility and durability for the life of the shoe.

The Allen Edmonds Strawfut dress shoe has a leather sole with a rubber heel tap for wear and grip.

Feeling comfortable and looking stylish at the same time is a lethal combination. Available in black-on-black, brown-on-linen, and brown-on-black mesh, the Strawfut will run you $325. But totally worth the dollars, in my opinion. We all should be so lucky as to have one pair of elegantly crafted wingtip oxfords in our closet. (via shoebuff)
