It is a smart garment that adds the extra touch of personality and sophistication to your look! i started making them for my self and wearing them all year long. My favorite look lately is a bespoke pant (w straight or narrow leg) and waistcoat in the same fabric (preferably stripes or plaid) and a shirt in a solid color with or without a tie and no jacket. in the summer i made it in seersucker and it looked great and light, and in the winter in wool with the back and the lining done in cotton (a solution for those who don't like the showy silk). I by the way didn't like the addition of a collar as much. I 100% agree with you on this statement.
