Mary Lou Retton And Hubby Discount Houston Home

Recently returning to be near family in West Virginia, gymnastics gold medalist and super-smiley motivational speaker Mary Lou Retton has been trying for months to sell her 9,000 square-foot Houston home. The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Retton, 41, and husband Shannon Kelley, 43, discounted their South Texas mansion to $4.7 million, a 10 percent drop from its previous listing price. The 6-bed/6-bath “custom built” home is rustic and spacious, with rough-hewn beams and outdoor terraces and more contemporary elements like lightly colored limestone, a grotto pool, media room and modern bathroom and kitchen fixtures and commercial-grade appliances.
