An all-glass condo tower planned for Costa Rica’s beachy Puntarenas, the Genesis Puntarenas project will feature the world’s biggest penthouse suite when completed in 2010. Development firm Caspi International is planning 14 stories, 40 units and six bi-level penthouses for the $120 million complex, luxuries dwarfed by a single crowning castle — the Caspi Icon. The 68,459-square-foot, 10-bedroom penthouse will be spread over three floors and come with its own swimming pool, tennis court and — hell yes — a private helipad. [via bornrich]

I would like to see the permits. Pretty hard to get a helipad in Costa Rica on the ocean. I know many projects have tried with no luck . The project looks nice but have you ever been to Puntarenus? There is nothing there and isn't going to be anything there in the next 10 years. I don't know why anyone would invest that kind of money to live in that area with all the choices in Costa Rica right now.
