Rolls Royce Phantom tuned by Hamman 1

The German tuners at Hamman Motorsport are defying the whole economic downturn by tweaking one of the most exquisite pair of limos, the new Phantom and its convertible offspring, the Phantom Drophead Coupe. Aside from the massive/sporty 23-inch alloy wheels, there aren’t any exterior changes, but a look under the hood will definitely change that. Apparently both Phantoms feature an engine kit that boosts the 6.75-liter V12′s output from 460hp to 535hp and the maximum torque from 720Nm to 835Nm, while with the speed limiter taken off, they both reach a terrifyingly fast 187 mph (300 km/h). No official details about pricing or availability, but you’d better start saving because they certainly won’t come cheap. [via Autoblog]
