Aussie Home Built Outside The Letterbox

Built to pay “respect” to the Blairgowrie peninsula, the Letterbox Home was created to bring smiles. Designed by architects at McBride Charles Ryan, the 900 square-foot Australian home undulates and seethes with indoor and outdoor spaces, inviting viewers to try to find its doors and windows. Golden brown wood striations mark the exterior façade, which is echoed inside with wood flooring. Bright red structural accents sweep through the home’s living space and the bedroom is framed with clean, white walls and natural light that pours in from an attached patio. [via archdaily]
