The Lighting Bags by Wonsik Chae

The latest creation from Korean designer Wonsik Chae manages to create the perfect amalgamation of lighting and fluidity.  Dubbed the lighting bags, they resemble any standard, drop in-tea bags you use at home.  The difference is that these aren’t meant for drinking– drop them into a glass of fluid and they instantly burst into a soft, glowing light.  As the chemicals begin to receed, the light will fade but the magic show will definitely remain etched in your thoughts. No word on when these will be released stateside, but we have a feeling they’ll hit a snag with the FDA.  We’d hate for some poor sap to accidentally down a pint of glow, wouldn’t we? [via Yanko]
