Infiniti Essence Concept, the Breathtaking Hybrid

At this year’s Motor Show in Geneva, Infiniti is hoping to steal the show with their luxury coupe concept. Dubbed Infiniti Essence, it’s a high-performance hybrid that packs a twin-turbo, direct-injection 3.7-liter V6 that sports 434 hp along with an electric assist that adds 158 hp– for a total of 592 hp. But for some reason, it’s not the tech side that triggered our curiousity and interest, but the gawking body work. With sleek lines and futuristic shapes, Infiniti Essence amazes with a Nippon-inspired interior that features Alcantara leather, hand-painted wood accents, etched crystal and holographic gauges. This car is sooo cool. I love the fact that a luxury car can rock a twin-turbo hybrid power plant! And the gauge cluster reminds me of an expensive watch.
