Building on its long history of racing, BMW has revealed a new ultra-sport literbike built to take on the established Japanese competitors both in terms of price and performance. Dubbed S1000RR, this superbike is compact and light (weighs 183 kg), is powered by a 999cc in-line 4-cylinder engine that outputs 190 hp, and features ABS brakes and traction control. With outstanding riding properties and elegant details that radiate power from every little joint, this all-muscle bike will be first available in Germany for 15,150 euro (some $19,700) starting early this summer.
