ManifestHope: DC showcases art-inspired change we can all believe in. The grassroots Barack Obama election movement is highlighted in a three-day art show in Washington, DC. The show started Saturday and ends today at 6 p.m. and our friends over at NotCot were there to capture scores of gallery standouts. Both underground and mainstream artists played a significant role in Obama’s historic campaign and helped ignite a groundswell of innovative designers and artists worldwide. Iconized through posters, paintings, buttons, flyers, stickers, installations, the MainfestHope: DC exhibition is proof that hope is alive both in the hearts and eyes and that our country’s best days lie upon the canvas before us.
