Revealed at this year’s NAIAS in Detroit, the new Cadillac Converj is a luxurious, fully electric two-door coupe. With an imposing exterior line and futuristic interior, Converj is looking to be the kind of car people would buy regardless of the drive train. It shares the Chevy Volt platform, uses Voltec technology (formerly known as E-flex), a stack of lithium-ion batteries, a small gasoline generator to re-charge batteries and delivers a 40 mile, pure-electric range to your daily commuting. We’d definitely want to get behind the wheel on such a green monster but we know for sure it won’t be available any time soon… [via Inhabitat]
