The Shiver seems a better choice to me, the gas tank is almost a gallon more, and the seat looks a lot more comfortable, the headlight looks more capable as well. The Shiver is a street bike and probably very good as such. The Dorsoduro has a motard look, but it isn't and it's heavy. Sorry, I don't want a bike that pulls real hard but that's about it. The Shiver seems a better choice, or if you want a motard then the KTM 690 SM, now that's a bike that with less Hp pulls strong because it's light (305lbs.) and you can put a skidplate and dualsport tires and have more uses. It's got the same size gas tank but certainly more range because it's lighter and the engine is smaller. KTM also has a windscreen for it.
