Nissan GT-R SpecV Breaks Out

Hunted like hell in 2008, the Nissan GT-R SpecV is a street-legal super coupe with race car-level performances that just got official. With an Ultimate Black Opal paint job, subtle body mods like a carbon fiber rear spoiler, grille and brake ducts, the new SpecV is a stylish upgrade from the standard GT-R. Performance-wise there’s a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that doesn’t bring any significant increase in hp, a titanium-coated exhaust, better suspension and a set of beautiful 6-spoke 20-inch NISMO wheels. The new GT-R SpecV should be available in Japan from February 2 and should cost a whopping $172,000. We wonder if it’s worth paying twice the price or better go for a tuning package? I heard this is a tough car the new Nissan GTR is really powerful Evo and Impreza would be eating its dust when they race.
