Visa Black Card: A cut above the rest
By Alex Ion
Visa knows all too well how to get unwilling customers to spend money by throwing in some very tempting bait. They’re already taking applications for one of the most exclusive memberships, the new Black Card program. Limited to only 1% of US residents, the card includes some exquisite benefits such as 24 hour concierge service, luxury gifts and priority access to airport lounges. Visa has also gone a step further and crafted the card in patent pending “Carbon Graphite” material. Pretty exclusive, isn’t it? Yours for an annual fee of $495. [via AcquireMag]

I agree 495 is just too much, I wouldn't bother getting one because I have other credit cards and I don't need to pay 495 annually for it.

15 years ago I would have one of these but not now. I'm not paying $495 a year for a credit card just because its BLACK, sorry VISA.
