When director Bita Hairdarian completed her autobiographic film about life as an American-born Iranian, she sought the help of the design firm 21-19 to develop a promotional campaign.  The result was a series of prints entitled “East Meets West”, where the imagery of the East was merged with the consumerism of the West.  From Louis Vouitton bullets to Jihad Cola to a mainstream media drug trade, these images are both thought provoking and strikingly controversial.  We’re a bit concerned, however, that a bullet like the one above has a real commercial value in this violent Western world… [21-19 via likecool]
