Binimelis House in Chile: Overcoming Challenges of Geometry in Style
By Alex Ion
Sometimes smart choices allow you to make some substantial gains. That is the case with the Binimelis House in Chile– which was built on a piece of land that most people wouldn’t have purchased. However, the talented team at Polidura + Talhouk Arquitecto, managed to develop this amazing shape, an amazing home. To overcome the 40% slant of the land, the lower floor was built to give the upper floor an even base, while at the same time optimizing space and offering a stunning view of the whole area. Next time you get an oddly shaped land for cheap, think twice before frowning at the deal. [via ArchDaily]
