Tag Heuer has a long history of professional timepieces dating all the way back to 1916 when they introduced the world’s first stopwatch. Named the Mikrograph, it could time events to the hundredth of a second. 92 years later Tag Heuer continues to be a leader when it comes to exquisite timepieces– and this year’s offering doesn’t disappoint. Tag Heuer’s latest is the Grand Carrera Chronograph Calibre 17 RS, which pays homage to the 1964 Carrera chronograph and updates it with the Calibre RS movement. The movement features GT-engine-inspired rotating systems that indicate the seconds in the window at three o’clock and the minutes at nine o’clock. With the Calibre 17 RS, Tag Heuer continues to evolve their iconic Carrera timepiece collection by looking into the future while celebrating its storied past.  [via tagheuer]
