The iconic diamond/hex pattern of the modern football hasn’t changed much in its history.  This sporty icosahedron has been produced in the millions, built from leather, plastic, vinyl or otherwise.  The tradition wasn’t good enough for Swedish designer Klas Herbert Ernflo, who has fashioned a football in his own image.  Klas Ernflo’s fabric football is made from a variety of wool fabrics, matching the standard soccer ball in shape, size and geometric pattern.  The patches themselves come in a variety of patterns, from a dark blue denim color to classic flannel.  In all, these are a brilliant set of luxury footballs that fit perfectly in the office of the football-minded.  We’ll take two, Mr. Ernflo.  [klasherbert via designboom]
