Vancouver Drizzle. I like it because it looks simple but yet it makes a statement. For the best dressed man, I would have to say it’s Marvin Gaye in the Nike basketball commercial. With a touch of aviators, his style bolsters his talent as he sings the song.
Wednesday, December 17, 2008 2:28AM
I'll take a card shark please.
Wednesday, December 17, 2008 11:32AM
Dark Grey Flannel my fav and George Clooney best dressed.

I love the Dark Chocolate Business suit, and the best dressed man? Cary Grant.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Gentleman suit would be perfect. New job, new city, new people to impress!
Best dressed? Well, George Clinton may win for originality in my book and that may be the best thing after all.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
formal black book
Sean Connery as James Bond…best dressed hands down.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Formal Black Book: http://indochino.com/classic_suits/The_Formal_Bla…
Every man needs a black suit. Including me.
I also think I would have to say Paul Newman was one of the sharpest dressers.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I really like the Gentleman. It's slim and classy
All of the Bonds. Very well dressed fellas!
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Definitely has to be the St. Petersburg. Great looking suit that has a classic appeal but is more fashionable.
Best dressed I'll go with Daniel Craig in the move Layer cake.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Vancouver Drizzle, I wanna look like Brad Pitt in Ocean's Eleven.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Vancouver Drizzle by a nose… I've had the good/bad fortune of living in the PacNW, and I'd take the suit over the rain any day of the week.
As to the man, my vote goes to Cary Grant or Fred Astaire, one's a classic, the other a dandy – and they've been copied ever since…
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
My favorite is the Urban Concrete, that suit makes a statement.
Tom Ford is the best dressed man in the world. His look is always perfectly simple yet elegant.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Such a tough choice here! Urban Concrete is definitely what I'm going to have to go with though, why get a black suit when its a free suit?
I dig the way Bruce (Christian Bale) dressed in The Dark Knight
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
It's a really hard choice, but I'll have to go with the Brown Flannel. The unique colour and refined shape just hit me the right way.
As for a best dressed man, how about Cary Grant?
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Charcoal 3 piece is classy.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
http://indochino.com/fashion_suits/The_Gentleman….
best dressed i can think of is Eric Bana
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
this suit caught my eye
http://indochino.com/classic_suits/Dark_Gray_Flan…
best dressed mEn have to be daniel craig & orlando bloom
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I would have to go with the Vancouver Drizzle. A classic look, I have always wanted a gray suit.
And the only correct answer of course is Steve McQueen.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I think the St. Petersburg Pinstripe ( http://indochino.com/fashion_suits/St._Petersburg…) narrowly edges out the Charcoal 3-Piece in my opinion.
Best dressed man in history… let's go with Jesse James ( http://www.reddellstory.net/Jesse%20James/Jesse-j…) nothing goes with a good suit like confidence
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
i like the charcoal threepiece…
and miles davis is definitely one of the best dressed men in history.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
gotta say that The Gentleman is my favorite. It looks handsome even without me in it. ;P
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The 'Urban Concrete' is clean.
John the baptist without a doubt, dude was in the desert, rockin' camel fur clothes and a leather belt (Matthew 3:4)
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I really like the Charcoal Three Piece. It's very Sean Connery-as-James Bond.
As for the best dressed man ever, I'd have to go with Pharrell Williams. He is normally dressed down (and who doesn't like t-shirts and jeans) but when he dresses up… man, it's effortlessly classy, cool, and comfortable all at once.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I think the Dark Grey Flannel suit is pretty slick.
And Steve McQueen had some pretty rad style … So does the Most Interesting Man in the World.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Gentleman Suit…
Chow Mo-wan, from "In the Mood for Love." Tony Leung is an underrated actor, and his style is on point in that film.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Berlin means Business. I like it. But then again I like a few others. Tough choice!
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I like the GQ Blue suit.
As far as the best dressed man in history, I would have to go with ol' blue eyes, Frank Sinatra.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Big fan of the Charcoal Suit. The best dressed category is a toss up. Michael Cain, Richard Avedon, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, George Clooney…. not in that order.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I like the The Formal Black Book suit and I think the best dressed man has been the James Bond Actors they always where some great formal wear
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Dark Chocolate Business is perfect.. love the color..
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Charcoal Suit is definitely the sharpest of them all. Very versatile and very timeless, a true classic. This suit can be worn about anywhere.
I think Ralph Lauren is the best dressed man in history, his style is always iconic and classy. His look has melded form and function in a combination of English class and American passion. Close runner-ups would be Hugh Grant, George Clooney and Christian Bale in the Dark Knight.

Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I'm a fan of the charcoal. And would go with Daniel Craig
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Gentleman suit is my pick. James Bond has always been the best dressed man in my mind!
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Navy Suit is pretty legit, and by far best dressed guy has to be George Clooney, always stylish, yet classic.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I'm a fan of the formal black book. Classic… classic… classic… As for the best dressed man in history. I'm going with Barack Obama. He's going to represent the greatest nation in the world. So I can guarantee he'll have the best wardrobe/stylist to back up my argument.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I like The Charcoal Three Piece Suit. I need a suit also, so this contest is great. The best dressed man was Cary Grant. Thanks.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Mm, the Dark Gray Flannel suit. I've never paid attention to how public figures dress, but um… Paul Newman, for rugged workwear.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
http://indochino.com/classic_suits/Dark_Gray_Flan…
Dark Gray Flannel.Classic material meets modern updated styling to create a classic yet contemporary look.
Oh and Cary Grant is probably one of the best dressed actors of all time.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Tough call – Newman as the classic best dressed, and I think Clooney is making his way up as a gentlemen. Relaxed, comfortable and natural. Classic.
I'll go with the GQ Blue – not the sharpest, but I like the classiness of it, and the practicality.
Nice site/suits!
RP
PS – I need a tux for my sisters june wedding – so a free one would help this struggling artist!
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Hmmm, I think the nicest suit on there is the Navy Pinstripe, very classy.
As for best dressed man? I'd say it's a toss up between the artist Common, who always looks formal even if it's very low key, and John Travolta in Pulp Fiction, Swordfish, and The Punisher.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Navy Pinstripe Suit
Frank Sinatra
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I have to go for the Dark Gray Flannel.
The best dress man in history is very hard to pick and I will change my mind every other day, but I must say that Frank (Jason in the Transporter 1,2, 3) is my pic for today. Simplicity trumps and this guy has been seen in the same black suit/tie and white shirt for a few years. Unlike James Bond, or other actors, politicians, he is very faithful to his colors (black and white) and respects his clothes so much that no one can touch them. And he always has a couple of suits/shirt in his trunk.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I would definitely go with the Tuxedo. How can you beat a beautiful new tux? If the Tux doesn't count, I would pick the three piece charcoal. So classic. So perfect for any situation.
The best dressed man in history is absolutely Brad Pitt. That guy is nothing but stylish and cool. Does he ever look like he isn't the coolest man in the room?
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The formal black book is so choice, I need a new one for collge
And the best dressed man in history is obviously Socrates. He sported that toga well.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Sorry, but you just gotta love Cary Grant – classic style
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
OK – I wasn't clear on that. I like Cary Grant for all time style, and in checking out the Indochino.com website, I liked the charcoal suit the best – though they all look pretty sharp.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
My favorite Indochino suit is the Charcoal Three Piece – $325 USD – a very classic and timeless look. And the best dressed man in history has to be Cary Grant.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I am going with the Charcoal Three Piece (http://indochino.com/classic_suits/The_Charcoal_T… I like the versatility of having a vest along with the coat and pants.
As for best dressed, I would go with Barack Obama, he is very stylish and wears his suits well.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Charcoal Three Piece- As for the best dressed man in history, I would have to say James Bond. He always has a classy black suit and always seems to transcend time. On to the real person- Gary Cooper would have to be the best dressed man in history. He had a love for Italian and English tailors. He was the true Hollywood Gent as he predated Cary Grant by 10 years or so.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I'm really fan of the "Charcoal Three Piece". Definitly something that I would buy.
As the best dressed man in history I would of course call in Barney Stinson…
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I'd have to go with the classic formal black book suite.
The practicality factor is unmeasurable.
Since we're speaking suits, i'll go with Patrick Bateman from "American Psycho".
He emanates style every morning before his deep pore cleansing lotion.
Who from above can look as good in a suit chainsawing his competition?
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
St. Petersburg Pinstripe
Best dressed has to go to Dean Martin.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
My choice: Charcoal 3-Piece
Best dressed: Pierre Elliot Trudeau (former Canadian Prime Minister). Hated his policies, but the man had style.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I think the Pinstripped Suit featured on the front page after clicking on shopping is the best.
I agree with the James Bond comments, and I think the Pierce Bosnan version of james bond wears a slick suit, but in history? George Washington. You can tell he stood out from all of his other founding fathers, being much taller, and wearing one of the most decorated suits ever(like a high general), looking like a man who would lead the country before he was even chosen to be the first president. Everyone else at the time wore simple garments. So this would make him really stand out.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I love The Gentleman suit. The best dressed man in history… I think I'm going to go with Paul Newman
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Charcoal Three Piece
is all i have to say
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I'm entering this for my man, and I definitely think he'd look hot in the Charcoal Three Piece suit. Also, David Beckham has to be the best dressed celebrity… or maybe Common, he's always looking good.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Nouveaux Socialite Tuxedo is just such a classic look that I can't say no. As for the best dressed man… all the different Bonds have always had to look good in suits, so obviously the actors are good choices, but I'm going to go with the new President for the win, Barack Obama.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Best suit: The Dark Tweed
And, to go along with that pick, the best dresser by far was Abraham Lincoln; beard, top hat and all.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
the Brown Flannel looks classic & modern at the same time
best dressed: Steve McQueen – always fashionable & masculine
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Navy Pick Stitch (http://indochino.com/fashion_suits/Navy_Pick_Stit…looks great probably my favorite from bother their collections.
One of the best dressed men has to be Christian Bale any movie he does wearing a formal attire he looks great. One that he does a great job in and is dressed the best in is "American Psycho" who not only looks good as a banker but as a killer.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Formal Black Book = Awesomeness
And for dress style I would have to go with George Clooney, The rat pack has been gone for fifty years and he still makes there style look cool.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
I really like the GQ blue. I got to say Frank Sinatra, as a young kid seeing that picture in his blue suit, he definitely wore that well.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
It's a toss up between the Charcoal 3 Piece and the Dark Brown Business–but I'd have to go with the Charcoal Three Piece.
As for the best dressed man in history, King Louis XIV. Nothing like a massive wig, flowing fur cloak, high heeled shoes, and skin-tight leggings to scream pinnacle of fashion. All kidding aside, if you're looking for a well dressed man in more modern attire, Humphrey Bogart's your man.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
2 button charcoal suit. you can never go wrong with that
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Cary Grant was the best dressed man
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Charcoal Three Piece. A classic look.
The best dressed man in history would have to be Humphrey Bogart. Always wearing that fedora and smoking a cigarette. He was the original man's man.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Berlin means Business.
Jason Schwartman always looks nice. Clooney and Pitt too.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The formal black book.
Yves Saint Laurent.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Formal Black Book really caught my eye. Best dressed in my opinion…I'd say Jude Law.
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
The Charcoal Three Piece. Sharp as it gets.
As for best dressed? Depends. André 3000 for best avant garde. Connery's Bond for classic (if you will forgive his blue romper outfit in Goldfinger).
Monday, January 12, 2009 3:10AM
Well everyone seems to be requesting the same thing here but lest we forget that Sir Sean had some great publicity shots for Dr. No and Goldfinger in something akin to their 'Vancouver Drizzle' – sounds good to me!
Wednesday, February 11, 2009 3:37PM
I pick the Dark Chocolate Business… Best dressed Man in History is Rock Hudson.
Friday, February 20, 2009 6:04PM
I prefer the Quiet Blue Stripe suit, classy yet city chic.
Wednesday, March 11, 2009 5:32PM
a black performance suit would suit me just fine!
Friday, April 17, 2009 8:30PM
Dark Tweed Suit. Cary Grant hands down was the best dressed of all time, with honorable mention going to Cassius Clay a.k.a. Muhammad Ali.
Wednesday, June 3, 2009 1:01AM
The Charcoal 3 Piece suit looks good.
The Best dressed man would be Gavin Rossdale.
Thursday, December 3, 2009 5:54PM
The Dark Chocolate Business Suit is the way to go! Looking good and unique. The best dressed man in history? How about David Beckham! The man is never caught in public without being dressed to a tee.
Tuesday, December 22, 2009 2:27AM
I like the Navy Performance Suit. Dean Martin/the Rat Pack at large were some of the best dressed men in history.
