The Nu Asia restaurant in Bahrain is a delightful example of contemporary architecture, an attempt to blend the most varied elements into an apparently seamless blend of elegance. Designed by UK based SHH Architects, the three-story building uses a great combination of dark timber, dark glass, stone staircases and lively decorated walls to develop an intimate atmosphere for its customers. Sounds like a great place for some Asian delicacies. We’ll have to ask the sheiks! [via Contemporist]
