The Schwartz Home of Dallas, TX
By Mike Payne
This hard-lined contemporary home is at once cool but comfortable, open and natural. Its sharp corners and angular sections meet in well-lit, spacious rooms. The Schwartz Home in Dallas, Texas is a shining example of well-executed modernism. While its form is clean, almost leaning sterile, it is merged perfectly with the nature of its lot. Take a look at the photo of the bathroom in the gallery below, note that the only curtain is a lush, green bamboo wall on its exterior. We certainly wouldn’t mind this one as our very own winter home… how about you? [dallasnews via contemporist]

This is a terrific piece of architectural design. Ludwig Mies Van der Rhoe would love it, as it follows his simple (but oh, so accurate) statement, “Less is More:.
I even love the Brno chairs shown in the living room area with the Barcelona footstools designed by Van der Rhoe.
Really great design here that only a budget situation would cause a buyer to not snatch this up.
