An American ex-racing driver Carroll Shelby requested AC to produce a car installed with a small V8 engine in order to stand competition to the Chevrolet Corvette– and thus began the success story of the Shelby Cobra.
The 2008 Cobra Venom V8 Concept car was designed by Jamie Martin to be a celebration of the long-lasting Anglo-American partnership that had wheeled out the most iconic sports car of the century.
