In 1965, the great Castiglioni brothers created the Radiofonografio, a cubic “musical component robot” built of pure modernism.  The Italian design brand Brionvega has resurrected the Radiofonografio with their Brionvega RR226, shown above.  The Brionvega RR226 is a rebuild of the classic media center with the addition of a cd/dvd player, providing a range of playback to supplement the 45/33rpm turntable.  Functionality aside, the Brionvega RR226 is so magnificently modern that we’d love to feature it as our living room’s centerpiece… [via thecoolhunter]
