StyleCrave Giveaway: the Freestyle Shark
By Mike Payne
Back in June, GearCrave gave away five FreeStyle watches to our readers, courtesy of Freestyle themselves. The Freestyle Shark, shown above, is absolutely legendary in the world of 80s poly watches– right up there with the classic Casio and the Swatch. Having broken into popularity once again, FreeStyle has re-released the Shark with a huge selection of color combinations. Did you miss out on the GearCrave giveaway? Fret not, as Freestyle was excited to jump in and celebrate the launch of StyleCrave by giving away a free Shark to one lucky StyleCrave reader. Want to try your luck? The details are below. Can’t wait that long? Head on over to Freestyle’s website, as these puppies start at just $50. [freestyleusa]
How to Win a Freestyle Shark Watch
To qualify for a Freestyle Shark, you must sign up, choose and comment. Here’s how:
- Sign up for the StyleCrave email newsletter. (you can do so here, unless you’ve already signed up for a past giveaway)
- Choose your color. Head to the Freestyle website and make your pick.
- Comment on this page, tell us your pick and why you want it!
It’s that simple. We’ll select one at random at the end of the week. Please note that this giveaway is only available to U.S. readers 18 years of age or older. Best of luck Cravers, and thanks to Freestyle USA for joining GearCrave in this great giveaway. This contest will end on Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 at 11:59p.m. Winners will be contacted the next day. Best of luck!

The Mid Cyan reminds of my favorite watch of all time. It was the first watch my parents bought me and I think I wore it everyday for about 5 years. I would love to rock it again!

Didn’t realize the mid was referring to the size. I would definitely go for the bigger faced Cyan.

Oh baby look at this nice representation of the 80′s – my prime years. I cannot get enough of Freestyle’s Shark Cyan watch. For $55 bucks this baby lasts a lifetime. I love it because its waterproof, snow proof, beer proof, ugly man proof, you name it and it’s proof. I love this thang and it gets more attention than my, well, yeah….
I’d like to try the Rasta cyan, who knows, I may ditch my leg warmers and grow some dreads.
