Paris Motor Show: the Venturi Volage

If Tesla Motors isn’t just a bit intimidated by this one, they should be.  The Venturi Volage is the latest and greatest revelation in the world of high-end electric cars.  The Volage will hit sixty from zero in under five seconds, powered by a series of 8 electric motors, two per wheel.  The batteries will power this Venturi for nearly 200 miles at a steady 56mph, although the top end of the Volage is about 150mph.  This one won’t hit the market until 2012, and the price has not yet been determined.  We’re guessing it’ll be somewhere between an arm and a leg… [via autobloggreen]
