Contrary to our belief, “Kiyora” does not stand for “weird looking flying bug”.  The Mazda Kiyora Concept was revealed today in Paris to highlight Mazda’s focus on fuel efficiency and clean emissions.  The word “Kiyora” actually translates from Japanese as “clean and pure”.  With its 1.3L gasoline engine, the Kiyora is intended to be used as a city car that sips gas like a hybrid.  Slated for a production version in the middle of the next decade, the Kiyora could replace Mazda’s 2 as their small-form city car.  When that happens, we really hope Mazda has a good hard think about color choices… [via autoblog]
