Kubikula Chair by Vladimir Zak

Maybe its our obsession with the film Tron, but we instantly dug this brilliant chair by Czech designer Vladimir Zak. The Kubikula Chair is a bold, angular armchair and sofa set that is well-suited for the contemporary home and office. The Kubikula is built from a wooden frame with polyurethane foam wrapped in a fabric or leather lining. We’d love to see the Kubikula in lighter colors. As it is, this armchair looks a bit too foreboding for our living room… unless we decide to splurge and go for that Tron theme we’ve been daydreaming about. However, such a move might have a drastically negative effect on our sex life. Tron girl, are you out there?
